Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

Can you follow a plant-based way of eating while pregnant?

Yes. The plant-based diet has been shown to be adequate for all stages of life, including during pregnancy, lactation, and in childhood. There are some key micronutrients that need to be considered while pregnant, vegan or night.

What is Lifestyle Medicine?

LM is a branch of medicine that focuses on healthy habit-building, preventive medicine, and improving quality of life with limited medical, pharmaceutical, and hospital interventions when possible.

What is the difference between "vegan" and "plant-based"?

Veganism is an ethical stance that seeks to exclude harm to animals in ways more than just nutrition, while plant-based refers to foods originating from plants, excluding animal products. People can be both vegan and plant-based, or plant-based without being vegan.
